Thank you so much, Eric. This was my favorite of the pears. The tear in the skin gives it character. As for narrative, well, sometimes a pear is just a pear. I approach a still-life very literally. I'm still learning "serious" painting and just trying to produce a good likeness of the object.
Anonymous is my wife who is out of town this week. I'm working on the frames now, honey!
Please don't sell these pears--I really want these framed and hung on the wall in the kitchen!
